Legerdemain (2013) is a multiple percussion solo commissioned by a consortium lead by percussionist Phillip O’Banion, who is featured in the short video excerpt below. It is a challenging solo that requires a great deal of coordination, requiring the player to perform drum set and vibraphone simultaneously. The piece comes from a larger suite for multiple percussion entitled Crossed Wires.
