A Spiral Made of Wires – Electric Guitar & Percussion Sextet

$40.00

Description

A Spiral Made of Wires is scored for electric guitar and percussion sextet. It was commissioned by V.R. Eaton High School Percussion Ensemble for their PASIC 2021 Showcase Concert.

Guitar / guitar centric music is something that is foundational to my musical upbringing. As my career has spiraled and branched away from its starting place, I think guitar is one of the elements at the center of it all, a tool that has taught me to write songs and develop my voice. My musical upbringing would not be what it is without my cousin, Juanito, who introduced me to a plethora of rock, metal and grunge bands in the early 90’s. His cassette tape tower was an obsession for me, and this influence rings true in this piece.
