Almaty (2015) is a percussion octet written for the 2015 PASIC International All-Star Percussion Ensemble. Written for eight performers, the instrumentation features one 5.0 octave marimba, one 4.3 octave marimba, vibraphone, glockenspiel and five crotale parts utilizing a muffling technique throughout the piece.
